As the game’s governing in England, The FA takes the lead in framing and guiding football’s safeguarding policies, procedures and everyday work.
We do this by producing over-arching strategies, with input from across the game. Each strategy is reported on annually, with a published annual review detailing how we’re progressing against our strategic goals.
You can read these strategies and annual reviews below. Two strategies have been produced so far – one covering the 2021-2024 period and the other 2024-28. As you’ll read, both strategies are devoted to one central aim: to create an ever-safer culture throughout the game we all love.
