Nine-year-old Viktor, who plays for South Coast Ballers FC Ultras U10s, travelled with his dad, Kamil, to a football tournament last weekend — a trip that was meant to be filled with football, memories, and family moments.

Instead, Viktor and his family experienced unimaginable heartbreak when Kamil tragically passed away in the early hours of the morning during the tournament.

In the midst of devastating grief, Viktor made a decision that left teammates, parents, and coaches deeply emotional. Just hours after losing his father, he chose to step onto the pitch for his first match of the day.

With incredible composure and courage, Viktor scored a stunning 20-yard free kick — a goal that earned him the tournament’s U10 Magic Moment Award before many even knew the heartbreak he was carrying inside.
