Applications for 3v3 goalposts are now open. Whether your club or league is participating in a Central Venue League or a Home & Away competition, you can submit your application now.
Applications for 3v3 goalposts must be for 4ft x 2.5ft goalposts only; other sizes, including 5ft x 3ft, are not eligible under this programme. You must submit a minimum grant amount of £400 per application and total project cost of £533 per application
When submitting a supplier quote, please ensure it is a formal written quote from a registered supplier. Website screenshots will not be accepted and cannot be approved.

What Funding Can I Get?
The maximum grant you can get for a pair of goalposts depends on their size, you can see the maximum amount we can fund for different sizes here.
The overall maximum grant we will fund for multiple sets of goalposts is £25,000, that does not exceed 75% of the total project costs and you’ll need to contribute the additional 25%.
If you’re seeking a grant to purchase more than five pairs of Goalposts, please get in touch with the Grant Reference Number (G-123456) from your draft application so we can review your project with your local Delivery Manager or County FA.

Example
Your club needs a new pair of 11 v 11 Goalposts and you find them from a supplier, priced at £1,920 including VAT. The club enters this price on the application form and applies to the Foundation for a grant of £1,440 as 75% of the total project cost. The club contributes £480 (25%).

What you can’t get funding for
- Goalposts which have already been purchased or ordered
- Goalposts for the exclusive use of educational establishments for their students, or from clubs that play within the National League System (Step 1 to 6), Women’s Football Pyramid (Tiers 1 – 4) or the Welsh Premier League
- Individual Goalposts (Goalposts must be purchased in pairs)
- Replacement of Goalpost parts or nets
- Goalposts for use on a 3G pitch that’s not on the FA 3G Pitch Register
- Replacement of Goalposts for 3G artificial grass pitches that have previously been funded by the Foundation
- Replacement of Goalposts that have previously been purchased with Football Foundation funding
- Other items such as corner flags, football kit, footballs, cones
